Synopsis


A story about the behind-the-scenes life of an idol group called “A.N.JELL”, their difficulties, love and career.

Tae Kyung and On Yu  and Shin Woo are in search of a new member for their idol group. However at the last minute, the member suffers an injury and his twin sister, Mi Nyu, steps in to disguise as him.

Park Shin Hye will play Go Mi Nam (male) & Go Mi Nyu (female), a pair of twins who ends up switching places when Mi Nam gets into an accident after being selected as 1 of the four members of “A.N.JELL”.

 

Cast

Jang Geun Suk as Hwang Tae Kyung

Member of the most famous Korean pop group A.N.JELL. He has genius skill in music composition and performing piano. Accordingly, his popularity is on top position in Korea.

His father, Hwang Kyung Sae, is world class music conductor. So, he is a member of noble royal family in music. There are a lot of curiosity about his real mother, but Hwang family consistently say no comments about that.

Hwang Tae Kyung looks perfect in appearance, but, he is full of defect to live in real life.  He has stomach inflammation, excessive concerns of cleanliness, night blindness, sleeplessness, sleepwalking , and various disease.

Moreover, He has many allergies, that means, if somebody want, he could be put Tae Kyung in big trouble by using only one food.

Tae Kyung has great stubbornness. He think himself a great person. he is a man of tired type to stay with. Even  he looks perfect man in appearance, but if we know his inside, he has poor wounded spirit. But, it makes us too nervous that we feel pity for his poor soul.

 

Park Shin Hye as Go Mi Nam / Go Mi Nyu

Go Mi Nam(male) and Go Mi Nyu (female) are twin, brother and sister, they grew up together in orphanage attached to a nunnery.

Though, the older brother was chosen as member of idol group, as he couldn’t do daily activities, the younger sister took his role, as a memeber of idol group, using her brother’s name, Go Mi Nam.

Bu, Go Mi Nam, who has to live as a idol, is lack of sociality, flexibility, friendship. He is soft and pure as he lived long time staying far from real world. To say another word, in realistic, timid and a little stupid! Even, he cannot catch the sign that some other people ignore him.

His special ability is unawareness in front, mumbling himself afterwards. Look back the situation while feel sorry. Worry some bad things even before something happen.  A little bit character of bothering somebody else.

 

Jung Yong Hwa as Kang Shin Woo

He has soft and handsome face like his name. but, it is only image, his reality is that he feel nothing about anything. He looks like smile to anybody, but , really, he never smile to anybody. A prince who has no heart. If we say Tae Kyung is sensitive elementary boy, Shin Woo is old man who already spent his life.

If we say Tae Kyung has sensitiveness as an artist, then Shin Woo has keenness as a businessman. He is a man of ambition who dreams entertain business rather than become an artist.

 

Lee Hong Ki as Kang On Yu / Jeremy

He is a healthy  and bright, well grown young man. He is a Korean resident in England and his father is English noble man. His father is world class photographer and his mother is a famous model. As he is optimistic and he is in the middle of member to equalize and balance other group members.

His smile is very pretty and lovely, so, even he say same stupid thing, his smile covers everything.

He has lived thinking there are only deep friendship between boys and only love between boy and girl. But his brain became mixed up as the existence of Mi Nam who is a girl as well as a boy.

Synopsis

Broadcasting station, especially television drama production, is often called as the core of desire and materialism. TV station is the place of envy for many people, but they also criticize it as the place where unethical thoughts are generalized. However, those who work in drama production team are not different from us; they are common people who need love and care just like others. Most of Korean dramas are focused on family problems and troubled relationships between lovers. However, for the moderners, workplace is where they spend most of their time. If one fails to build decent relationships with others in his workplace, it would be hard to read his life as a success. “Worlds Within” will bring out the stories of drama production staffs; the warm, touching stories of their love and life.

Episode guide

Episode 1

While Junyeong(Song Hye-gyo) is busy preparing for her boyfriend’s birthday party, Jio(Hyeon-bin)’s film is accidently destroyed and Junyeong was sent as a sub-director. However, a stuntman gets into an accident while filming, and Jio faces urgent situations because of this. For Junyeong, it is the day that she’s about to meet Jungi, who she recently broke up. When exhausted Junyeong comes back home after filming, Jungi says goodbye to her. He tells Junyeong that he is sick and tired of her selfishness. In the mean time, Jio does his very best to broadcast the film but got slapped in the face.

Episode 2

Junyeong receives a script that is in her favor and wants to seek advice from Jio. While reading and analyzing the script, the two go to eat noodle soup at the place where they used to go together. Jio and Junyeong recollect their school year memories in there, and Jio remembers of Junyeong’s straight forward and outspoken persona. While Junyeong is getting herself absorbed into the reality, instead of the reminiscence, Jio casually tells Junyeong that he broke up with Yeonhui.

Episode 3

Junyeong decides to outsource a special program to Yunyeong’s company. Minchul is upset about this decision and yells at her. While comforting Junyeong, Jio tells her that he had long wanted to get back together with her.

Episode 4

Jio visits Junyeong’s home to give her help on analyzing the script, and he kisses on her lips. Junyeong and Jio now know their feeling for each other, and they head to airport for oversea filming.

Episode 5

Junyeong is revenging Yunyeong by ordering her to re-shoot the scenes. Junyeong and Jio are having sweet moments together. However, Jio’s ex-girlfriend Yeonhui comes to meet Jio and stirs up his mind.

Episode 6

Jio unexpectedly meets Junyeong’s mother, and Junyeong feels ashamed of her mother’s disappointing manner. Meanwhile, Sukyeong’s ill feeling against Gyuho is going from bad to worse.

Episode 7

Minchul is happy to be together with Yoonyeong, and Gyuho slowly opens his mind to Haejin. Jio is surprised by his father’s sudden visit to the broadcasting station.

Episode 8

Jio and Gyu-ho put their pride on the line in the Drama production department’s rugby match. While trying to get a nap after a hard day of filming, Junyeong is surprised when Jio suddenly hugs her from behind.

Episode 9

Junyeong and Jio fall in sleep and the assistant director finds them. Meanwhile, Sukyeong makes a mistake again and being scolded by Junyeong.

Episode 10

Junyeong and Jio go to Jio’s place after Hoyeon’s farewell party.
Crying, Junyeong tells Jio about her mother and her unwholesome past. Watching her sadly, Jio holds Junyeong close and comforts her.

 

Cast

Song Hye-kyo As New director, Joo Joon-yeong

She finished the harsh period as an assistant producer six months ago. Two short dramas which she produced lately received a favorable evaluation and enjoyed high ratings. As she was awarded a prize at a drama festival held in foreign country, she became a new producer of note.
She is straightforward, passionate, delightful, firm, and cool. But, through her parents, she has learned early how thin and futile trust can be between people. Knowing that, she cannot decide what to do in the relationship with Jio which obviously has ended while her heart just aches.

 

Hyeon Bin As Drama director, Jeong Ji-oh

 He is acute, righteous, humane, warm-hearted, and passionate. He is also the envy of his juniors. Two miniseries, which he produced in the last three years, had good ratings and were highly acclaimed for their quality. Now, he is producing another miniseries which has a good quality and high ratings.
